Linbrook School (“us”, “we”, “our” or “Linbrook”) operates the www.linbrook.ca website (the “Website”).

This Privacy Policy applies to any personal information (as defined below) that Linbrook collects through our Website. This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and sharing of personal information and the choices you have associated with that information.

When you visit our Website, we may collect, using electronic means such as cookies, technical information. This information may include information about your visit or usage, including the IP address of your device/computer (which is the number automatically assigned to your device/computer whenever you access the Internet and that can sometimes be used to derive your general geographic area) and which browser you used to access our Website, your operating system, resolution of screen, location, language settings in browsers, the site you came from, keywords searched (if arriving from a search engine), the number of page views, as well as information you entered and advertisements you have seen. Transfer of Personal Information outside Canada

Personal information may in some cases be transferred outside Canada, for instance through our use of service providers. As a result, you understand that your personal information (or your child’s personal information) will be subject to the laws of other jurisdictions than Canada and may be available without notice to you to foreign government authorities under lawful orders and laws applicable in such jurisdictions. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to monitor and analyze the use of our Website. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

Children’s Privacy

Our Website is not meant to be used by anyone under the age of majority in the jurisdiction where they reside. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child where parental authorization was required, we will delete that information.
