In Grade 5, the boys go on an overnight field trip. Brock University is a frequent destination where they stay on campus for a youth camp and participate in several diverse recreational activities.
In Grade 6, the boys participate in a two-night learning experience and leadership opportunity. They engage in challenging outdoor activities and build their teamwork skills.
In Grades 7 and 8, the boys begin the year at a three-day leadership retreat. This is a valuable experience that encourages the boys to take risks, learn new skills and strengthen relationships. Additionally, once the boys reach Grade 8, they embark on an end-of-year trip to explore western Canada.
Every grade embarks upon field trips throughout the year that focus on the current curriculum and/or offer meaningful experiences. For example, our students have visited the Toronto Zoo, local farms, a butterfly conservatory, Ripley’s Aquarium, sporting events, performing art centres, musical concerts and art galleries. Parents are always welcome!
Throughout the year, there are Special Event Days to keep the boys motivated and excited about coming to school. For example, the boys participate in jersey days, dress-down days, Fun Fridays, Sports Day, Spirit Week, S.T.E.M. Day and House Team events.
